PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICES ACT 2004

REVISED

This Revised Act is an administrative consolidation of the Private Security Services Act 2004. It is prepared by the Law Reform Commission in accordance with its function under the Law Reform Commission Act 1975 (3/1975) to keep the law under review and to undertake revision and consolidation of statute law.

All Acts up to and including the Employment (Collective Redundancies and Miscellaneous Provisions) and Companies (Amendment) Act 2024 (14/2024), enacted 9 May 2024, and all statutory instruments up to and including the Private Security (Licence Fee) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (S.I. No. 206 of 2024), made 8 May 2024, were considered in the preparation of this Revised Act.
