Transport manager.

18.— (1) A transport manager shall—

(a) hold an appropriate certificate of professional competence,

(b) be of good repute and have attained 18 years of age,

(c) be designated by an operator as transport manager by notice in writing given to the Minister, and

(d) be engaged to continuously and effectively manage the transport operations of the operator.

(2) Where the Minister considers that a transport manager is not complying with the requirements of subsection (1), he or she may by notice direct the undertaking to rectify the situation or to appoint a new transport manager.
