Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Human Trafficking) Act 2024
Short title and commencement
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Human Trafficking) Act 2024.
(2) This Act shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may appoint by order or orders either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.

Power pursuant to subs. (2) exercised (31.08.2024) by Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Human Trafficking) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024 (S.I. No. 391 of 2024).
2. The 31st day of August 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Human Trafficking) Act 2024 (No. 28 of 2024), other than Part 3, shall come into operation.
