Home Building Finance Ireland Act 2018
Short title and commencement
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Home Building Finance Ireland Act 2018.
(2) This Act, other than Part 7, shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may by order or orders appoint either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.

Power pursuant to subs. (2) exercised (5.12.2018) by Home Building Finance Ireland Act 2018 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2018 (S.I. No. 518 of 2018).
2. The 5th day of December 2018 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Home Building Finance Ireland Act 2018 (No. 28 of 2018) shall come into operation:
(a) Parts 1, 2 and 3;
(b) Part 4, other than section 16;
(c) Parts 5 and 6.
