1163. (1) An application under this section to the court for an order confirming a division shall be made jointly by all the companies involved in the division.

(2) The application shall be accompanied by a statement of the size of the shareholding of any shareholder who has requested the purchase of his or her shares under section 1162 and of the measures which the successor companies propose to take to comply with the shareholder’s request.
