25. (1) Irish Water shall take such steps as may be necessary under the Companies Acts to alter its F12[constitution] for the purpose of making them consistent with this Act.

F12[(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Companies Acts, no alteration of the constitution of Uisce Éireann shall be valid or effectual unless made with the prior approval of the Minister and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.]
