F14[29.— (1) For the purposes of the Exchequer and Audit Departments Acts 1866 and 1921 and the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act 1993, the person who stands as the duly appointed accounting officer for the appropriation accounts of the Office of the Ombudsman shall also be the accounting officer for the appropriation accounts of the Office of the Commission.

(2) Nothing in subsection (1) shall be read so as to prevent the amalgamation of the appropriation accounts and vote of the Office of the Commission and the Office of the Ombudsman into one appropriation account and one vote.]
