28.—F13[(1) Subject to subsection (2), the person who is designated by the Ombudsman as the chief executive officer (by whatever name called) of the Office of the Ombudsman shall be the Director of the Office of the Commission who shall be known and is referred to in this Act as the "Director".]

(2) For the purposes of the Public Service Management Act 1997, the Director is the principal officer of the Office of the Commission.
