Child Care Act 1991
Rules of court.
33.—(1) For the purpose of ensuring the expeditious hearing of applications under Part III, F286[IV, VA] or VI, rules of court may make provision for the service of documents otherwise than under section 7 of the Courts Act, 1964 (as amended by section 22 of the Courts Act, 1971) in circumstances to which the said section 7 relates.
F287[(1A) For the purposes of ensuring the expeditious hearing of applications and proceedings under, and in relation to, Part IVA (as amended by the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2011), rules of court may make provision for the service of superior court documents otherwise than under section 23 of the Courts Act 1971.]
(2) Rules of court may make provision for the furnishing of information and documents by parties to proceedings under Part III, IV F288[, IVA (as amended by the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2011)] or VI to each other or to solicitors acting for them.
(3) This section is without prejudice to section 17 of the Interpretation Act, 1937, which provides for rules of court.
F289[(4) In subsection (2), a reference to parties to proceedings includes a reference to a guardian ad litem, if any, appointed in accordance with Part VA in respect of the proceedings concerned.]

60. (1) Sections 21, 22, 24, 24A, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 35A to 35Q, 37 and 47 of the Act of 1991 shall, subject to the modifications specified in subsection (2), apply to proceedings under this Part as they apply to proceedings to which those sections apply.
(2) The modifications referred to in subsection (1) are as follows:
(a) references in a section specified in that subsection to proceedings or an order under Part III, IV, IVA, IVB, V, VA or VI of the Act of 1991 shall be construed as references to proceedings or an order under this Part;

(j) any other necessary modifications.
