Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971
Interpretation.
1.—In this Act—
“the Act of 1956” means the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1956;
“the Minister” means the Minister for Local Government.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017.

The title of the Minister having charge of the Department of State, whose present title is, in the Irish language, an tAire Tithíochta, Pleanála, Pobail agus Rialtais Áitiúil and, in the English language, the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government, is altered, in the Irish language, to that of an tAire Tithíochta, Pleanála agus Rialtais Áitiúil and, in the English language, to that of the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government.
4. In any enactment or any instrument made under an enactment— ...
(b) references to the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government shall be construed as references to the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government.
