F568[Power to remit matters to F569[Bank] for further consideration.
57X.—(1) At any stage of proceedings to determine an appeal against an appealable decision, the Appeals Tribunal may remit the decision to the F569[Bank] for its reconsideration.
(2) The F569[Bank] shall reconsider a decision remitted under subsection (1) and on the reconsideration may—
(a) affirm the decision, or
(b) vary the decision, or
(c) substitute for the decision a new decision.
(3) If the F569[Bank] varies the remitted decision—
(a) the appeal is taken to be an appeal against the decision as varied, and
(b) the appellant may either—
(i) proceed with the appeal as varied, or
(ii) withdraw the appeal.
(4) If the F569[Bank] substitutes for the remitted decision a new decision in substitution for the decision set aside—
(a) the appeal is taken to be an appeal against the new decision, and
(b) the appellant may either—
(i) proceed with the appeal in relation to the new decision, or
(ii) withdraw the appeal.]
