Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018.

(2) This Act shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may by order or orders appoint either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.

Power pursuant to subs. (2) exercised (30.07.2018) by Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2018 (S.I. No. 298 of 2018).

2. The 30th day of July 2018 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018 (No. 9 of 2018) shall come into operation.
