Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Technological Universities Act 2018.

(2) This Act shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may appoint by order or orders either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.

Power pursuant to subs. (2) exercised (24.04.2018) by Technological Universities Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2018 (S.I. No. 124 of 2018).

2. The 24th day of April 2018 is appointed as the day on which the Technological Universities Act 2018 (No. 3 of 2018), other than sections 65 (a), 68, 69, 70, 76, 77, 79, 80 (b), 82, 83, 84, 85, 91, 92 and 94, shall come into operation.
