This Revised Statutory Instrument is an administrative consolidation of Health Insurance Act 1994 (Determination of Relevant Increase under section 7A and Provision of Information under section 7B) Regulations 2014. It is prepared by the Law Reform Commission in accordance with its function under Law Reform Commission Act 1975 (3/1975) to keep the law under review and to undertake revision and consolidation of statute law.
All Acts up to and including Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Act 2024 (18/2024), enacted 2 July 2024, and all statutory instruments up to and including International Protection Act 2015 (Safe Countries of Origin) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2024 (S.I. No. 327 of 2024), made 1 July 2024, were considered in the preparation of this Revised Statutory Instrument.

I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 7A and 7B (inserted by sections 6 and 7 respectively of the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 17 of 2001)) of the Health Insurance Act 1994 (No. 16 of 1994), hereby make the following Regulations:

References to “family income supplement” construed (1.01.2018) as references to "working family payment" by Social Welfare Act 2017 (37/2017), s. 8(2), in effect as per s. 8(3).
Renaming of family income supplement
8. ...
(2) Any reference in any Act, or in any instrument made under any Act, passed or made before the commencement of this section to “family income supplement” shall be construed as a reference to “working family payment”.
(3) This section comes into operation on 1 January 2018.
