Disclosure of information relating to offences.
16.— Notwithstanding section 17, information, which in the opinion of the chief executive officer may relate to the commission of an indictable offence, may be disclosed to—
(a) the Director of Corporate Enforcement,
(b) the Competition Authority,
(c) a member of the Garda Síochána,
(d) an officer of the Revenue Commissioners,
(e) the Central Bank of Ireland, or
(f) such other person as may be prescribed by the Minister by regulations after consultation by the Minister with any other Minister of the Government appearing to the Minister to be concerned.

Transfer of functions to Commission
39.— ...
(2) References in any Act of the Oireachtas passed before the establishment day or in any instrument made before that day under an Act of the Oireachtas to—
(a) the National Consumer Agency, or
(b) the Competition Authority, shall, on and after that day, be construed as references to the Commission.
