Review of operation of this Part.
44.—(1) The Minister shall initiate, not later than 1 January 2014, a review of the operation of this Part and shall ensure that the review is carried out.
(2) The person carrying out a review under subsection (1) shall consult with such other Ministers of the Government as he or she considers appropriate, the Data Protection Commissioner, the F19[Central Bank of Ireland] and such other persons or bodies as he or she considers appropriate.

Transfer of functions of Data Protection Commissioner to Commission
14. (1) All functions that, immediately before the establishment day, were vested in the Data Protection Commissioner are transferred to the Commission.
(2) A reference in any enactment or instrument under an enactment to the Data Protection Commissioner or to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner shall be construed as a reference to the Commission.
