Education for Persons with Special Educational Needs Act 2004
Short title and commencement.
53.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Education for Persons with Special Educational Needs Act 2004.
(2) This Act shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may appoint by order or orders either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.

2. The 1st day of October 2005 is appointed as the day on which sections 45 to 49 of the Education for Persons with Special Educational Needs Act 2004 (No. 30 of 2004) come into operation.

2. The 14th day of July 2005 is appointed as the day on which sections 1, 2, 14(1)(a), 14(1)(c),14(2) to 14(4), 19 to 37, 40 to 44, and 50 to 53 of the Education for Persons with Special Educational Needs Act 2004 (No. 30 of 2004) comes into operation.
