41. In this Part —

“ballot paper envelope” has the meaning specified in rule 44(c);

“covering envelope” has the meaning specified in rule 44(d);

F80[“person in charge” means the owner or operator of the place where the special voter is ordinarily resident or the person under whose direction and control the activities at that place are being conducted;]

F80[“relevant official in the place where the special voter is ordinarily resident” means the person in charge of the place where the special voter is ordinarily resident or any person authorised by the person in charge who is employed in the place where the special voter is ordinarily resident, but the person shall not be the same person as the person appointed as special presiding officer (if any) under Rule 43(1);]

“special presiding officer” means a person appointed to be a special presiding officer pursuant to rule 43.
