Sea Pollution Act 1991
Orders concerning Conventions and Protocols.
28.—If the Minister is satisfied that—
(a) any country (other than the State) has accepted or denounced the Intervention Convention, the Intervention Protocol or the MARPOL Convention F28[, the AFS Convention, the BWM Convention] or any Convention or Protocol which has been ratified by the State and which amends or extends any such Convention or Protocol, or
(b) any such Convention or Protocol extends, or ceases to extend, to any territory,
he may by order so declare.
