Application of section 405 to every type of company and society

1433. Section 405 shall apply to—

(a) any company within the meaning of Chapter 4 of Part 14;

(b) any friendly society within the meaning of the Friendly Societies Acts 1896 to 2014; and

(c) any society registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1893 to 2014;

as it applies to a private company limited by shares.
