Effect of decree of dissolution.

113.— F30 [ (1) ] Where the court grants a decree of dissolution, the civil partnership is thereby dissolved and either civil partner may register in a new civil partnership or marry.

F30 [ (2) For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby declared that the grant of a decree of dissolution shall not affect the rights of the parents of a child, under section 6 [...] of the Act of 1964, to be guardians of the child jointly. ]
