Losing, stranding or hazarding State ships.
149.— Every person subject to military law who wilfully or negligently or through other default loses, strands, hazards or damages or suffers to be lost, stranded, hazarded or damaged any State ship, is guilty of an offence against military law and shall, on conviction by court-martial, be liable to suffer F109 [ imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years ] or any less punishment awardable by a court-martial.
