Striking or offering violence to a superior officer.
132.— Every person subject to military law who strikes or attempts to strike, or uses, attempts to use, or offers violence to a superior officer is guilty of an offence against military law and shall, on conviction by court-martial, be liable to suffer F78 [ imprisonment for life ] or any less punishment awardable by a court-martial.
