12.—If a judge of the District Court is satisfied on the sworn information of an authorised officer that there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that there has been a contravention of a condition or requirement of a licence or an authorisation F220[or a registration granted under Part IIIA] F221[or a natural gas licence granted under section 16 of the Gas (Interim) (Regulation) Act, 2002, or a consent given by the Minister prior to the appointed day under section 8(7) or 40(1) of the Gas Act, 1976, or given by the Commission under section 39A(1) of the Gas Act, 1976] F222[or that the Board or Bord Gáis éireann has failed to comply with a requirement under section 7(1) of the Gas (Amendment) Act, 2000] the judge may issue a warrant authorising the authorised officer, accompanied by other authorised officers or members of the Garda Síochána, at any time or times within one month from the date of issue of the warrant, on production if so required of the warrant, to enter such premises as are specified in the warrant, if need be by reasonable force, and exercise all or any of the powers conferred on an authorised officer under section 11.
