INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT 1986

This Revised Act is an administrative consolidation of the Industrial Development Act 1986. It is prepared by the Law Reform Commission in accordance with its function under the Law Reform Commission Act 1975 (3/1975) to keep the law under review and to undertake revision and consolidation of statute law.

All Acts up to and including the Consumer Insurance Contracts Act 2019 (53/2019), enacted 26 December 2019, and all statutory instruments up to and including the Industrial Development (Amendment) Act 2019 (Commencement) Order 2020 (S.I. No. 62 of 2020), made 10 March 2020, were considered in the preparation of this Revised Act.

AN ACT TO CONSOLIDATE WITH AMENDMENTS THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ACT, 1950, THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACTS, 1969 TO 1981, THE UNDEVELOPED AREAS ACTS, 1952 TO 1969, AND THE INDUSTRIAL GRANTS ACTS, 1959 TO 1969, AND TO PROVIDE FOR OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED WITH THE MATTERS AFORESAID. [6th May, 1986]
