740.—Where a document is required by this Act to be published in the London Gazette, it shall be sufficient if notice thereof is published in accordance with the Rules Publication Act, 1893.

4. The Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, shall have effect in Saorstát Eireann as if the following section were inserted therein in lieu of the section 740 now contained therein, that is to say,
"740. Where a document is required by this Act to be published in the Iris Oifigiúil, the publication in the Iris Oifigiúil of a notice of such document having been made and of the place where copies thereof may be purchased shall be a sufficient compliance with such requirement."
