Orders to make payment for benefit of child.
62.— Where an adoption order is made under this Act, then—
( a) any order under which the birth parent of the child is required to make payments specifically for the benefit of the child, and
( b) any agreement whereby the birth parent of the child has undertaken to make payments specifically for the benefit of the child,
ceases to have effect, but without prejudice to the recovery of any arrears due under the order or agreement at the date of the adoption order.
