Definitions ( Part 6).

45.—In this Part—

F147 [ body means the Executive, a religious body or a secular body; ]

“marriage registration form” means a form prescribed under section 48 ;

F148 [ place that is open to the public has the meaning given by section 51(2A) ; ]

“the register” means the register of marriages and cognate words shall be construed accordingly;

“the Register” means the register maintained under section 53 and cognate words shall be construed accordingly;

“registered solemniser” means a person standing registered in the Register;

“religious body” means an organised group of people members of which meet regularly for common religious F149 [ worship; ]

F150 [ secular body shall be construed in accordance with section 45A . ]
