29.—(1) F24[An education and training board] may, in writing, for the purposes of this Act, designate a voluntary youth work organisation which provides a youth work programme or a youth work service in F24[the education and training board area of that board], as a designated local voluntary youth work organisation for that area.

(2) F24[An education and training board] shall notify the Minister when it designates an organisation under subsection (1).
