Credit Union Act 1997
Application for registration as a credit union.
7.—(1) An application for the registration of a society as a credit union shall be made to the F19[Bank] and shall be signed by 15 members of the society, all of whom have the same common bond and one of whom shall be the secretary.
(2) An application under subsection (1) shall be accompanied by two printed copies of the society's rules.

(1) F20[Subject to subsection (1A), an application] shall be accompanied by two printed copies of the society's rules.
F21[(1A) An application for the registration of a society as a credit union pursuant to section 6(6) shall be made to the Bank and shall be signed on behalf of each credit union which is a member of the society by the secretary of each such credit union.]
